Description

This dramatic landscape print is taken from a painting by Scott Naismith.  It has a more muted colour palette of greys, pinks and blues with a flash of orange.  The image looks over the Glencoe Valley in the West Highlands of Scotland. This image evokes many memories for me as I have travelled the road many times when visiting my parents in Fort William.  The scene changes with the weather and seasons. Scott has painted this in the winter when Glencoe is at its finest.

Glasgow born Scott Naismith had always wanted to be an artist and attended the Duncan Jornanstone college of art in Dundee.  He has since become a hugely successful artist and sells his work all over the world. The vivid colours used in Scott’s work is adapted to an idea rather than to match what he sees.  In return he has created these beautiful colourful works of art that give us a feeling of optimism and hope. Scott’s artwork is a firm favourite in Curiouser and Curiouser. We always have his work hanging on the shop walls to add a pop of colour.

All of the Scott Naismith images we sell are limited to 195 copies plus 20 artists proofs, they come rolled in a tube with a certificate of authenticity.  These prints are printed on demand but we will make sure to have them delivered to you as soon as we can.
