Georgina MacMaster graduated from Edinburgh College in 2002. In 2008 she was awarded the "David Cargill Award" att he Royal Glasgow Institute of fine arts for her painting "A Perfect Match," which is available to buy as a print here, in "Curiouser and Curiouser." The focus in all of Georgina's painting is always the animal, or animals. She leaves the background white so the eye is always pulled straight to the image. She layers the paint to capture the texture of the anilmal's fur and the affect that the Scottish weather has on the look of her subject. Her paintings are full of life and are a real favourite in our shop.
